About The Artists
Sin:Ned
Sin:Ned (WONG Chung-fai / Dennis WONG) is an improviser, experimentalist and noise practitioner from Hong Kong. He is the co-founder of Re-Records, Twenty Alpha, advisor of soundpocket, and the Hong Kong organizer of JOLT Festival (http://joltarts.org/home). He is the core member of No One Pulse, After Doom, adeō and underture, and the main advocator of the Hong Kong underground experimental music scene with his prolific output and concert series Noise to Signal and festival series Kill The Silence. His collaborators include artist such as Zbigniew Karkowski, Yan Jun, Alfred 23 Harth, Otomo Yoshihide, dj sniff, Xper.Xr, Kazuhisa Uchihashi and Torturing Nurse...etc. His works have been featured in the infamous Belgium imprint Sub Rosa’s “An Anthology of Chinese Electronic Music” and “An Anthology of Noise & Electronic Music Vol. 7”.

e:ch is an experimental guitar/ electronics based project from Macao. The music revolves around drone, guitar noise & contemporary classical among the 3 albums released to date since 2013.
The forthcoming album “Incisions” is set to release in September 2015, a psychedelic drone composition revolves around ambient, guitar noise, improvised trumpet and spoken words. Sculpting the elements into dark texture and soundscape with guitar, electronics, trumpet, voice and extensive use of effect pedals. A European and Asian tour for the album “Incisions” is set to combine live visual performance by Taiwanese Visual Artist – JinniL, touring from early October onwards.

Sound artist or musician (it depends on your taste) . . . a.k.a. Nikola Mounoud is also member of the LUFF – Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival – organisation crew, active as music co-programmer, sound technic and most recently coordinator for the LUFF does Tokyo that was held for the 10th anniversary of the festival in 2012. He is also co-founder of the associative photo & cinema laboratory “On fait du l’art !” in Lausanne, Switzerland.
For the past few years . . . has focused on the exploration of both analogue and digital feedback as sound source. Unlike the chords, skins, strings and wind of acoustic sound, feedback is an unstoppable implacable sonic evolution (so long as electricity is present to feed it!). Riding many musical waves as we all do . . . uses a laptop and an analogue mixer to produce his live compositions, well hewn from the coal face of improvisation!
