This "(Cult) Live" is a part of the "Organs Without Body Live Tour" for Sin:Ned’s latest album release "Organs Without Body" (RE-CD-012).

"Organs Without Body" (http://www.re-records.com/discography/re-cd-012/) is the lastest full length album featuring four solo improvisations recorded in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Macau on Chapman Stick, from one of the most enigmatic noise practitioners in Hong Kong. With huge amount of feedback, distortion, and extreme physical manipulation, Sin:Ned is pushing the Chapman Stick far beyond it’s original sonic existence, into a realm of pure energy, frequency and vibration. Brutal blend of physical doom metal on acid for extreme noise droners.

Four innovative music groups will be performing awesome live at Cao Box, starting from Sin:Ned’s own garage noise duo with To, freeform extreme grind/drone noise trio After Doom, to the experimental electronic sound of No One Pulse and Adeo.

Jointly presented by Re-Records, Day's Eye Records & Twenty Alpha.

Homage to Zbigniew Karkowski (1958 – 2013)

Time: 8:30pm
Venue: Multi-media Theatre, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity
Performed by: Sin:Ned, e:ch, Zen Lu and Dickson Dee
Ticket Price: Free Admission

We pay homage to one of the most important and influential experimental musicians and composers of our time: Zbigniew Karkowski.

Karkowski strongly believed that geographical, political and social exile is a necessary condition for true and honest creation. He was not interested in the traditional definition of music, in his opinion, all musical theory and systems as cultural concepts must be destroyed. In his latest work, his main concern was to realize drama with sound – electronic and acoustic walls with the architectures of ruins transcribed in the scores.

The documentary film “Fxxk You: Fxxking Noise in China Now” comprised of 100 minutes of electronic noise music and harsh speeches: a road movie between Beijing and Shanghai featuring Torturing Nurse, Wang Changcun, Wang Fan, Li Jian Hung, Dickson Dee, the poet Sun Meng Jin and Zbigniew Karkowski as radical red line.

The after-screening live concert will feature performance by Dickson Dee, ZenLu, e:ch and Sin:Ned, who are both friends and long time collaborators of Karkowski.
